Which competitors are winning customers
from you? And where are yours coming from?
November
14, 2007. Utilisoft is pleased to announce that its powerful Standing Data Repository
Module for the capture and analysis of detailed customer data flows and churn
activity is now in testing prior to being made available to Australian Energy
Market Customers.
Analysis
of market standing data and comparison against other key information streams
provides powerful insights into how your business is operating at any given
time…detailed analysis of customer churn is but one application provided by
FlowTalk SDR.
Technical
Director Nick Nikolitsis said: “The FlowTalk Standing Data Repository Module
makes a strong addition to the FlowTalk family because it builds on the
product’s market-leading capabilities in both Electricity and Gas and pushes firmly
into the realm of Management Information Systems.
“Our
customers have been telling us that capture, management and analysis of market standing
data is something that their existing information systems fail to do well.
FlowTalk SDR will deliver strategic insight into how an energy retail business is
operating at any given time and help track competitor activity.
“Providing
this capability through FlowTalk means Energy Market Participants can analyse performance
of customer acquisitions and competitor churn trends on-the-fly. Having this
data analysed and presented delivers huge competitive advantage to FlowTalk
users over other market participants.”
Capability
highlights include:
To obtain the latest standing data for a NMI, query the FlowTalk Standing Data Repository (SDR) rather than sending out market transactions to MSATS or use the MSATS browser
FlowTalk SDR is originally populated with a
Snapshot Report, then continuously kept up-to-date with C4 Reports and the
range of CATS Notifications
FlowTalk SDR’s GUI allows all Standing Data to
be returned for a given NMI
As well as up-to-date NMI information, FlowTalk
SDR contains the latest Data Streams, Roles and Meter Registers
FlowTalk
SDR will be delivered as the first of Utilisoft’s road-mapped Management Information
Tool modules which are complementary to the product set’s existing high-volume
transaction management and processing packages for managing mission-critical
energy market data flows. Utilisoft will release more information and a White
Paper on the module via this website.
